Put to sleep in revolutionary hope
Before a dank soil
Now a bed of roses
I lulled in this beautiful glory
Finally no more masters but my equals

The spoils of war have never been so rich
Of small exceptional toil of labour

Hundreds of years keeping away
Protecting
I brought in the way of the new world
Rejecting
Carring grudge
A long lost echo of what brought me here
Crackles in my ears

Trails ablaze with incendiary flame
Whispers now gain momentum

You stole a part of it and took flight
In another golden palace
Even deep inward it burns
This rocky hall was once the tomb of our beloved

As long as we won

A last shroud of dignity covers
The deaths by our discontent

The immense halls adorned with effigies
Of the new crown-less king
